Career Area of Interest
I enrolled in the Master of Global Affairs and Public Policy program because I want to work in public service again.  Learning how to research, understand and write public policy that has global implications is an essential skill set towards being a well rounded public leader.  Furthermore, the opportunity to learn from professors at the Baker Institute, who are leading authors and influencers on U.S. policy is an amazing opportunity that few are privileged to experience.  The education at Rice University compliments the leadership experience I earned as a former Naval Officer, corporate businessman and successful entrepreneur.  Upon graduation, I'm confident that I will have all of the tools I need to make a positive and meaningful impact towards U.S. public interests, in any setting or forum, and I look forward to working with an organization toward that end.
