The Association of Veterans in Global Affairs (AVGA)
The Association of Veterans in Global Affairs (AVGA) was founded in 2017 by the first four veterans to attend Rice University’s Master of Global Affairs (MGA) program. Dedicated to personal and professional development, The Association is steadfast in their commitment to advance veteran opportunities through leadership, career advice, transition assistance, and engagement with international businesses and governments. In complex international and business issues, veterans create value by leveraging extensive experience, knowledge, and uncommon drive.
Veterans are encouraged to take the first step into the wider global community by enrolling in Rice University’s Master of Global Affairs Program. The Association of Veterans in Global Affairs is laying the foundation for a network of veteran MGA graduates and current students to thrive as leaders in the larger global community.
