As someone with a political science background with an emphasis on theory and comparative politics, I hope to use the MGA program to help expand my competency to include how global systems and organizations function on a pragmatic level in a rapidly changing geopolitical environment. Institutional distrust, debt burden and export dependency are key areas that I hope to explore as avenues that impact development. My aim is to provide an informed perspective to nonprofits, IGOs, and other organizations so that I could help contribute to effective solutions on issues such as global poverty, political instability and natural disasters.
